Scale issue from Max to Chitubox

Hello,

When import an obj from 3ds Max into Chitubox the scale doesn't match. it need to be scaled Up roughly 2000%.

i'm using mm as my units to measure.

Does anyone here have insights as to why there is a discrepancy?

Thanks

Try resetxform before export.

thanks for the tip. it was worth a try.

unfortunately it didn't change anything. i wonder if it's not an out of Max issue but an into Chitubox issue?

the support from them is not good.

Sounds like it's time for experiment!

Export 1x1x1m cube from max. Import to any other 3D editor. Now you will know if the problem is with max or chitu.

i created this box in Max, exported it as an STL and imported it into Blender and measured using a line.

in Max it is 133.452mm long, and in Blender it is 2.60813mm long

this make me believe it is not chitubox but Max.

maybe the units in Max are not correct or in export (and i tried stl and obj) there is an issue.

It's easier when values mismatch within metric system - if my model is 10, 100, 1000 times off I can just switch meters to millimeters for example. Here I'm not sure what's going on.

Double-check your units setup and if it's fine then try to export to blender using FBX. Maybe there is exporter/format specific issue with STL.
