Remove Boolean Union or Subtraction (NOOB)

Hello, Everyone.

Hoping I am posting this in the correct location. My apologies if not.

I'm trying to learn 3DS Max 2019 (teaching myself). I have a small object I've created and added a Boolean union (not ProBoolean) and that union in is the wrong spot. How do I remove that union so I can move it to the correct location?

I feel like I've poked around all the obvious places, but nothing jumps out as a solution.

Also, I wouldn't mind knowing how to reverse a subtraction as well. I really don't want to recreate the object if I can help it.

Thanks in advance!

Select the unioned object then in the MOdify panel select Operands under Boolean.  YOu should now be able to select the individual objects you unioned together and move or delete them.

To remove a subtracted object from a Booleaned object just select the subtracted object inf the Boolean Parameters pane in the MOdify tab and click Remove Operand.

Ohhh, that makes sense. I only had one union I could get rid of, though. The others don't show up. I think that's because I deleted a couple layers hoping that would remove them from the object. No such luck.

I may have to rebuild the object, but I can do it with this knowledge now.

Thank you!

Hi all, I'm facing a similar issue here and don't know how to intersect these two solids. I tried ProBoolean and it doesnt work as intended. any ideas ?
