Real-time exporter (fbx) - morph animations not exported

I have a set of animations I would like to export from 3ds max to a game engine. the object has a list of animations so I would need to export animation clips inside the fbx or a glb. Sadly 3ds Max does support keyframes added into the regular fbx exporter, but the regular exporter doesnt support animation clips. THe new realtime exporter does 3xport morph targets, but it doesnt include the keyframes for it. So I can't use any of them. Is there some workaround to this? Or will 3ds max improve/fix the new realtime exporter to support this? (It should support animation clips for glb too, why doesn't it?)

There was a plugin called Babylon JS, but they have stopped developing it because 3ds max started making their own glb exporter. But I'm afraid we now are stuck with an half finished exporter from Autodesk that can't even do the most basic stuff 😞

The regular FBX exporter works perfectly here. I didn't test the "Real Time" which is calling exactly the same exporter for FBX but it to has options that you need to turn on for Skin and Morpher

Just tried the real time and with morph and animation turned on it works as it should. What Max version are you in?

Hi, thanks!
Yeah the regular FBX exporter works fine. But it doesn't have support for animation groups/clips. Which is why I needed to use the realtime exporter.

Morphs works fine in the regular FBX exporter. But in the realtime exporter, I'm able to export morphs, but all keyframes disappear. Maybe it only works if you have not added Animation clips/groups - but if that's the case the realtime exporter becomes redundant.

I made sure to tick on morphs in the exporter, I even went in on the realtime exporter advanced settings and tested with the exact same fbx export settings as the regular fbx exporter had, and I still didn't get keyframes on the morphs.
I tested in Max 2024 and 2025.
