Crash 3ds max when working with surfaces in NURBS. After removing or applying another tool to the surface and after the undo action, a crash occurs. There is also a roll-out bug, they are always closed after their first opening

Another 3ds max NURBS system crash when you try to insert a CV point on curve in surface

Another bug, when importing an object and after selecting it, its mesh geometry disappears. This should not be, in earlier versions this was not observed

Crash again when you try to create a surface between one of the trim curves.

😡‌ Another nasty bug occurs with chamfering and fillet curves. A look at an example comparison with the vintage version of 3ds max 5(2002) and the current (2022). 20 years have passed and the old proven tools are working worse than ever, quality engineers no longer need this product, so decided in autodesk. ‌🤔

3ds max 2023 still hasn't fixed NURBS issues. If there are those who are not indifferent, send more bug reports, so there is a chance that it will be fixed

3ds max 2023 and 3ds max 2024 still haven't fixed any of the NURBS crash bugs.

We have no plans to update or work on anything NURBS related at this time for 3ds Max. NURBS are provided in 3ds Max for legacy file support.

this is not a 3dmax error, you have a virus, very dangerous and difficult to remove, BACKDOOR.BETABOOT, search your hard drive, look for the "GOOGLE UPDATER 5.0" folder, dont try remove (bluescreen), the code is nested inside system file csrss.exe (dont remove!, dont kill this process!), you need to kill process inside csrss.exe first, use free malwarebytes (very helpful), then after reboot you need to kill two process (they will show themselves after a restart) by removing GOOGLE UPDATER 5.0 ... ATTENTION! virus infects .max files, there is some invisible layer inside the file, the file infects all 3dmax versions above autodesk 2014/2015 (python 2.7 and above and MS VisualStudio C++ 2013 and above) sorry for my english, hope you understand ;D - good luck

this is probably responsible for your NURBS problems (screen from free malwarebytes antivirus)
