Nitrous 11. Reference image PIXELATED and BLURRY, 3Ds Max 2016. PLEASE help!

I had 3Ds Max 2015, and I wanted to make a model using blueprints.
I made a plane and in materials i chode diffuse-bitmap.
When i dragged it on the plane in the viewport it was pixelated and a little blurry.
It was hard but i somehow menaged to make a model (it didnt turn out very nice though).

Last night i downloaded and installed 3Ds Max 2016, hoping it will fix the problem, but the same thing happened.
I cant open configuration box because its Nitrous (Nitrous Direct3D 11.0 Feature Level 11 - AMD Radeon R7 200 )

I found this: http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/nitrous-set-texture-size-limit
but it was last updated 2 years ago, and i dont want too mess up something with it.

Could someone PLEASE help me, as this is crucial for my project... 😕

Run the script! It works with previous versions. Won't screw up your work. If dissatisfied with results, close and reopen without saving.

... or try using Nitrous Direct 3D 9.0.

Did you try increasing the resolution in the Viewport Configuration? Click the + icon in the upper left corner of a viewport, then click Configure Viewports... After that go to the Display Performance tab and where it says Texture Maps increase the pixel resolution to 4096. Hope this helps.

Set your materials to display as "Realistic with Maps"

I'm not sure wether this is still valid, but in previous versions, realistic always displayed the highest possible resolution ( except when you hit the resolution limits in the viewport configuration->performance settings )
