Need help baking textures onto a PNG file (Diffuse map)

I need help for baking the textures on my 3D model. It's a 2 million polygons model from sketchfab, but converted to 200'000 polygons with "ProOptimizer" modifier.

The model has all the colors and textures in the 3D viewport. It's just when I try to export the textures, it shows it can't find the diffuse map for some reasons.

Video of what I did:

Don't hesitate to ask me for the complete 3D model project (bought from Sketchfab), if you want to test it for yourself.

Thanks

Hello @mra16r ,

Might be a couple things.  First, make sure your textures are properly linked up in the Asset Tracker.  (File-> Reference -> asset Tracker Toggle.)  Chances are that's the problem.

The possible alternate thing it might be is that those are inside a material which isn't supported for baking with the current renderer.  I feel like the message would be different if that was the case though.

Thanks, I just did this but it still can't find two image files for some reasons. I can't even find them in the project I bought from Sketchfab.

If it's not too much trouble, can I just send you the project files, and you could try to do this on your end?

I've been trying to fix this for 3 days and I'm just not good enough I guess.

Here are the project files:

Hello @mra16r ,

It wouldn't help, you'd still have to link them yourself since your folder structures are different than mine.  If you are missing textures, I also couldn't really help there.

What part is tripping you up?
