moving vertex to vertex with snapping is not working

Simply I just want to move a vertex of a box, to a vertex of another box.

 

You can see my setting in this video. I don't know which part I have missed.

This will sound counter-intuitive, but turn OFF 'Enable Axis Constraints' as that will limit the movement and not allow you to move and any direction.

Hello,

 

If your object isn't moving while using snap in 3ds Max, check the following:

 

1. Snap Settings: Ensure the Snap Type and Snap To options are set correctly.
2. Snap Threshold: Increase the sensitivity setting to allow for greater snap distance.
3. 2D/3D Snap Mode: Make sure you're in the correct snap mode (2.5D or 3D).
4. Object Lock Status: Check if the object is locked or if its transforms are frozen.

If you can bring up the snap toolbar, this is the only button that needs to be active (with all default settings):
