merging objects into scene leaves black unselectable objects

sometimes this happens where i merge some object into my main scene and then some of the objects are black and can't be moved or selected etc, layers do not seem to be locked or anything frozen, sometimes also this happens, anyone else seen this problem? i know its a bad workflow to merge things into the scene especially from unknown sources but when on a tight deadline sometimes i get tired

Hello @mitviz,

I merge things all the time, I think that's ok.  The weird thing is that they cannot be selected.  I honestly have never seen this before, would it be possible for me to check out a file?  I could create a private folder if you'd like, happy to do so.  I'm not sure how to approach this without it because I have no experience with this issue.  If you give the green light I'll send you a Box invite.

sorry i left this one hanging, i think its a graphics issues, its sometimes for me i see this, after i closed the file and reopened it few days after nothing like what i described was anymore in the file, so i think was a graphical error somehow

I think the problem is your graphic card..

install the driver well

no its not a driver issue, i am very well updated its just from time to time
