Something weird happened, i got an error and before it crashed i got a pop up if i wanted to save some kind of "script" and i pressed yes. after i restarted i got another error and i can't do anything.

Please help! I don't know anything about code and my head hurts! I attached screenshots!

Also is there a way to reset the scripts maybe?

Yes there is.

Go to 'C:\Users\%Your User%\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2019 - 64bit\' and find the 'ENU' folder. Rename it so something like 'ENU_ORIGINAL'. Then restart Max. It will build a brand new one. See if things work well. If so and you haven't done much customization of Max, you'll be good to go without too much effort.

If you have customized a lot, there are ways to protect and save a good bit of that configuration. You can search here and Google for info on that. It's out there. But the main thing is to get you going so you can finish your project.

Hi thank you so much for the reply, i haven't tried your method yet, but before i do that, i took a closer look inside, at the folder 'plugcfg_ln" i think the problem is inside that folder, specifically "SME.ini", "maxFxoCache.dat", "unwrapuvw.ini" files. because those are the only recent ones, and i was doing some unwrapping options before the problem happened.  can i restore that folder only? so that other settings are not effected? if not, i will try your method.

Yes, you can replace individual files or whole folders. If replacing files know that there may be some dependent files that need replacing along with the primary one. Those are sometimes hard to figure out what they might be. You can sometimes look through the script and see if it calls any other files.

changing the folder name didn't fix it, some ui elements are restored to default. but i just want to model, the error has to do with edit poly 😞

It's second time I see a post like this, as if something was overriding the filters maxscript structure or there was a problem with the filers script file itself. The other guy solved it by reinstalling max, I think he tried removing the ENU folder before and that didn't help.
