Max 2019 won't install, keeps rolling back during install process.

I have a deployment that I've used successfully on other machines on our local render farm to install Max 2019.  This one particular machine gets to the "copying files" and then suddenly "rolls back", the progress back goes backwards and installation quits without giving any reason or statement.  I've tried rebooting the machine as well as cleaning the registry and running a disk cleanup, but nothing seems to help.  Yes, I have administrative privileges.

Is there a log somewhere that would explain what's going on?  Can anyone offer any help?

when you created the deployment it does ask where do you want the logs

so where did you put them?
