licence issues

We have 2 licences. We work from home 2 days/week. In the past, I could just leave my office PC on, my Max was rendering/running some sims, etc and I could work on my home PC using my licence and my collegue was using his licence without any issues. Today, I simply couldn't, it gave me a warning about missing licences and it said that the "device limit reached".

According to Autodesk (https://www.autodesk.co.uk/support/account/admin/home-use/products)

"Home use rights allow employees to install Autodesk software at home for work related to business, personal education, or training. Products with multi-user access require a licence to use software at home. If you have a subscription with single-user access, you don't need to request a licence—simply sign in to use software at home."

Products that are eligible for home use

  • 3ds Max®

Anyone else had this problem in the past? I understand that using the same licence on two PCs at the same time sounds a bit tricky but it helped me a lot in the past and tbh it sounds like I have the rights to do this.

This worked differently in the past and I had no problems with using my licence on 2 computers at the same time. Feels like a hidden price increase to me to be honest.

Even Adobe lets me use my Photoshop on two computers simultaneously.

Really disappointing.
