issues with color attach detach

hello

when attaching an item to another item with 2 different colors  the item i attach to is taking on the color uniting  into one color , how do i stop this ?

its normal... if they dont have material in it, the first object will adapt the second object when you attach them. Apply material before attaching them to solve your issue.
