Hi and thank you for reading this.
Issue:
I work with Autodesk's 3DSmax at my school. I created my account using the student license and got the software.
I didn't find any way to download 3DSmax without the Autodesk Desktop Manager. I tried the two download options: Browser download and Download manager, each time with a clean uninstall before. The issue appears when installing: There are missing files. The installer installs only 2 or 3 files for a total of ~150mo. When going into Autodesk Manager it recognizes my 3dsmax as installed and ready to go. When I click on "Launch" it does nothing. Not even an error message. I used it in the same setup for weeks, and without any changes on my part, it stopped working.
Configuration:
[Software]
- 3DS Max 2018 (Can't find update version)
- Installation via Autodesk Desktop Manager
- Tried clean install on C:\3DSmax and D:\3DSmax respectively (same goes for Autodesk Manager)
- Software was working fine until two days ago
[Computer]
- GeForce 1070 GT
- Processor i5 6600k 3.5ghz
- C: SSD 200go | 😧 Normal 1000go
- 16 Go RAM
I tried different kinds of installations setups, cleaned my files every time. It seems to be an issue with the installer. Can someone send some help please ? I'm sorry to take your time, but I can't work or follow studies without it.
