Hello,

I have a missing .vraymesh so i'm trying to import to Vrayproxy to be able to see the model clearly on the viewport but when i direct it to the exact file it show me the model in the viewport but disappear in the render.

Plase note that the vray mesh was exported in a single file.

Thank you for your help.

Honestly it sounds like a better question for the good folks at Chaosgroup.

Shot in the dark:  Maybe 3dsMax has access/rights to the folder it is in, but the vray render service does not.  If you run as administrator does it work?  What if you put it in a different place?  Is the path to the file on a network?  If so, does it happen locally?  If it's local already, does it work in other folders such as the one the max file is in?   I'm guessing that vray tries to refresh the file on render and maybe that service doesn't have rights to the location the folder is in.

Or, maybe it's something much simpler like it doesn't have a material applied or it's in a layer that has rendering turned off.  Or an object property, etc.

Best bet is to reach out to Chaosgroup.

Best Regards,
