How to convert double sided material to standard material?

When importing from SketchUp to 3ds max, materials came double-sided which make some problem for me for exporting to another software, is there any way script or command can convert double sided material to standard material?

Do you mean "pack both materials of a double-sided material in one material" or do you mean "keep only the front-side material and trash the back-side material"?

The first is surely not possible (standard materials always shade both sides the same), the latter should be possible by script. Did you check the export-options for such a setting?

In short, I'm looking for a script that does the following:

double to standard.jpg

For all the material in a scene.

You were right, there is an option when importing that cares about double-sided material, I had to uncheck it before start.. now it's too late to do so because I did a lot of changes.

For people who may care about this, you have to uncheck this when importing from sketch up.
