How to change color of edged faces

Hello, I have a question regarding how to change color of the edged faces, the grid lines on a 3D object. I forgot what name it's called when you go into the customize user interfaces and click on the colors tab to not find the option needed to change the color of these lines shown in the screenshot below. What name is it called to change color to these grid lines on the 3D object? Thanks, Matthew M.

Good afternoon, if you want to change the colour of the faces of the object, you can try selected the objects that you want to change the colour on it first, next go to the Modify (at the right side panel) ,choose the 'Edit Mesh', and select the 'Faces' which under the 'Edit Mesh'. Then select the faces of the object and apply the colour on it.

Hi @Anonymous,

Shaded objects in 3ds Max viewports can show either (applied) Material colors or Object colors, as set by the Command Panel > Display tab.

You can change the Object color of any object by right-clicking on it to bring up the Properties menu and then changing the color assigned to it.

To assign random Object colors to all selected geometry in your scene, please see this article, and let us know if this helps!

If you go to Customize User Interface and the Colors tab, set Geometry in the elements Dropdown and scroll down to selection. Changing the color here will change the color of the faces when in Edge Faces mode (F4). Make sure to hit Apply Colors now after you change it. I changed mine to bright green so they stand out against a grey material.
