I need to show a crane picking up an object and setting it down. I have a dummy on the crane hook. I need the crate picked up to follow the hook and then when it's set down the link is absolved. I can't find a way to have the link to the dummy shut off when it's set down and activated when it's picked up. I can set "Don't Affect Children" but how do I set this for just part of the animation? The problem I'm having is the crane swings, it's really difficult to get the x/y values to match the crane hook as it rotates.
