How do i connect these edges?

Hello,

It has been a while since I have used Max (regrettably) and I don't remember how I would connect these edges together to create what will be a Propane tank.

Thanks,

Easton

Edit: I tried snapping the edges together but that only made it to where the segments that you can see that are differently aligned from the other side are higher or lower than the opposite side. It basically made it look off and had raised edges. What I am trying to do is connect the sphere to the cylinder to where it looks seamless.

I feel like an idiot...

It shows when you take a break from something for too long. I simply created a new one by making a sphere, taking half of it and moving the polys, thereby stretching it out to my desired length, and presto! I have a perfect Propane tank base.

I would still like to know how you guys would go about fixing the issue in my first post though. For learning purposes, and I am sure I will run into a similar issue sometime soon.

Delete the faces (polygons) on both, attach them together and then select the borders on both shapes and use the bridge command! this will combine them into one opps you may need to weld the vertices where you made the attachments

Or use an 'Extended Primitive' either Oiltank or Capsule. This would keep the object parametric.
