This is my neuron and I need to change its color, beginning from the blue box on the center line, moving in both directions but here comes the tricky part, the change should move like water moving in a hose like this.
I mean when it comes go the central part with branches, the effect should move towards all tips.
Just like Selecting the vertices around the box, Enabling Soft Selection with Edge Distance option and Animating the Falloff. This is actually what I'm looking for. If only I could change Vertex Colors or some color according to the vertex selection. (Or face Selection)
