Gizmo changed is there a reset to default ?

Following modelling for several hours I notice that the move gizmo didn't look normal, the cube that's normally in the center of the XYZ handles had dissapeared and there is only a circle now. I've been looking for days for a solution to reset the gizmo or change it back to default in someway but without any luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Here is what mymove gizmo looks like:

Is the Gizmo the same even in a new 3ds max scene?

@burrasc

I guess you probably already tried the "Restore Factory Settings" in lower left corner of Preference Settings> Gizmos Tab?

Also, if you uncheck Center Box handle, Move in Screen Space box you can eliminate the center box, but not sure how you have the circle there instead.  What version on Max are you using?

That's the Snap-gizmo - although it's strange that it appears in a new scene, too. It should revert to the regular gizmo if all the Snap- buttons are inactive (the ones with the horseshoe-magnet-symbol).

Thank you for the suggestions so far.
I'm using Max 2021 but don't have the reset to default dialog box in the bottom left of my preferences window, but I'm sure that would do the trick.

When I checked the Move in Screen Space (It was uncheck) a small box appeares in the middle but still not the default function and it doesn't act in the default manor.

Thank you everyone for helping me with this issue. Found a solution:

To reset 3ds Max preferences manually (2022 and earlier versions)

You can reset the 3ds Max user preferences by renaming (or deleting) the user settings folder/files. They will be created automatically the next time the program is launched. This process is specific to the active user login on the system as 3ds Max saves settings for each user profile in Windows.

To reset the preferences manually (English-language versions), do the following:

  1. Ensure that 3ds Max is not running.
  2. Open Windows Explorer and make sure hidden files/folders are visible in Windows (see How to turn on hidden files and folders on Windows).
  3. Navigate to the following path:

    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\20XX - 64bit\ENU

  4. Rename the ENU folder to ENU_old.
  5. Restart 3ds Max. When the program launches, it will create a new ENU folder with default startup settings.

To restore the old settings, delete the new ENU folder and rename the old folder back to ENU.
