From fbx to sat

Hi.

Im using 3dmax with the objective of converting an fbx file to sat file.

I had no issues importing the fbx file into 3dmax. I'm able to see the geometry.

But I don't know how to export it to sat file. I always get this error:

2.PNG

I've tried to select all elements before exporting and it didn't work. I've never used 3dmax before so something is missing. What does "none in scene" mean?

I don't know much about SAT personally, but I know that NURBS means Non-Uniform Rational B-Splines.  If your scene is polygons, then it isn't NURBS.  Apparently, SAT requires NURBS.  (Based on that error message.)

When you imported the Navisworks file, did you have an option to keep it as body objects or NURBS?  You don't want to convert to mesh if your plan is to export NURBS.  I see a lot of cross edges in there which says polys to me.
