Fixed Normals not saving!

Some of my models have normals that needed fixing





So I fixed in 3ds max by selecting Editable Mesh> Polygon > Show Normals > Scale >0.01
yet when I export my file .fbx, and check it, the fixed normals aren't saved. Why does it do this?

Hitting "show normals" is merely a viewport indicator to show you which way the normals are facing, try using "flip normals" under the Surface Properties section instead 🙂

That didn't work, it still looks the same after saving.

Are normals that appear like the screenshot a bad thing in anyway?

Hi,

 

The size of normals, or the fact that they are visible or invisible doesn't change anything,

So don't worry.
