Export .max file to .dae

Hello,
I need to export .max file to .fbx or .dae but with texture. When it exports to .fbx, the textures do not export. When I try export to .dae 3ds max are freezing.
Maybe before export to .dea I should to change something in the model settings, but I don't now what.
Would anyone help Me solve this problem?
To open a model with textures in 3ds max you need V-ray

I don`t use VRAY but i have found this in the 3dsmax 2019.3 release notes:

  • Fixed an issue where some large exports (>20k poly count) to Collada would fail. MAXX-46543

Perhaps you are suffering from this issue?

As for .fbx did you check 'Embed media' on export?

Thank you for your response.
I have marked this option when exporting to .fbx but it is the same result also I have lowered the poly count, now the export has worked but the same message appears as for export to .fbx.

Are those VRay materials? They are not supported by .fbx format. You will probably need to convert them to Standard materials.

Also i want to make clear that the bug mentioned, which effects exports >20k polygons, is releated to .dae-export NOT .fbx.

There`s a blog entry at Turboquid that shows how to do it manually:

You can also try this script and see if its works:
