Error 16: How to repair Autodesk Interoperability Engine Manager.

I was trying to link a revit model with 3d max and i keep receiving this error message: 

Missing Inventor Server The Autodesk Interoperability Engine Manager is missing or damaged...

Inventor linking is an addon for 3dsmax I believe, and you should be able to find it in your manage.autodesk.com account.  I think the error is just telling you that you don't have it installed.  Here's a general article about it.

The link for it is in the article I posted above.  You can download and install it from there.  That didn't work for you?  Do you have an IT person who might be able to help?

I actually deleted 3d max and redownloaded the newer version then when I tried to link the revit model, it automatically asked me if I wanted to download the Autodesk revit interoperability2024. I did it and Now everything is working. Have a good day!
