DWG import doesnt work properly

Hi forum,

 

this is my first post in the 3ds max forum so please dont kill me! I wanted to import a .dwg file which has couple of surfaces in it. The splines and polylines are not interesting for me. When i import the dwg file as showed on the 3ds website, it only shows black things which arent my surfaces at all. What am I doing wrong?

hi @Anonymous

 

When I try on my setup, I get an error about some proxy objects that I may need to locate an object enabler for. Can you tell me a bit more about the composition of the source file? Does it have manufacturer supplied models and or objects in it?
