Download 3ds max student install on other pc

Hi,

I am trying to figure out how to download 3ds max for students and install it on another pc without downloading again.

It´s just because my internet at home is not that fast. So I have to download it somewhere else.

I would suggest using the download manager; this will bring the install files onto your local machine.  (When you get to the install screen, look for the alternative options - it is usually a small link below the large download button.

You can then copy those files that are downloaded to CD and run on another computer.  I think you would need to install the download manager on the other machine(s) and I believe internet is still required for the install process, I don't think it is a full install without internet.  But it is still better than trying to run the full install on a slow connection.

@kennyj has a good suggestion here.  There is one other option which is using the Virtual Agent and then you can download the parts easily as well.

Thanks good suggestion, but unfortunately I have to download with a Mac and need installation files for windows.

But why are the files just 2.9 GB?

The normal download file is at least 6GB. Does that mean I still have to download a part?

The virtual agent should still be able to download the files in that case.  Does that work for you?

I can download it, but have to check it at home now if it´s the full installation.
