Curve Editor is blank ????

My Curve Editor has gone virtually blank except World shows up. Nothing else. No curves, no keys, no scene objects. NOTHING! I'm experienced with it but alas, I am stumped. I've tried every combination of Curve Editor settings. I've also erased the 3dsmax.ini file. Older files exhibit the same absence of data. Used to work!

Are the Filters set to Show Only Selected Objects, and nothing is selected?

I wish it was that easy. I've tried selecting everything and of course selected an animated object. Nothing seems to change-no matter what. Like I said...I'm stumped!

Thanks for replying though.

I've had the same blank curve editor and this brought it back for me:

1. Open curve editor.

2. Right click on empty space on the curve editor toolbar.

3. Choose 'Load Layout'.

4. Choose one of the other layouts. (Eg 'default')

5. Curve editor should suddenly start working again.

6. Change back to your preferred layout.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for sharing your issue with us.

Do you have any updates applied to 3ds Max?

Did you try what @kerrin_taylor suggested?

I hope you are well.

other ways to try out are:
go to filters and under "Show Only:" section on the right section of the filter window turn off:
visible only, selected object only.
make sure you do not have the object hidden by default, also under the display tab of the command panel make sure you do not have filters on nor under the category tab do you have anything checked.
