Hello @Anonymous,

I use Copitor for this, amazing tool... I love it so much.  I have also used the Copy and Paste script and that is great too!

I have provided a link here that might provide the extra functionality you are looking for. Please note however, this is not an Autodesk product or endorsement. You should take all precautions whenever you elect to download/install/utilize any application and do so at your own risk.

Please review the developer’s documentation and disclaimers before proceeding to utilize their product(s) .

It's saved my bacon on a number of occasions.  Once my file corrupted because I lost power while I was saving (darn Oregon weather) and it had saved the model I was working on in the Copitor queue!  Serendipity, only ended up losing about 10 minutes of work over it and got to go home in time for Robot Chicken.  Smiley LOL

I can't do much support for 3rd party scripts and plugins, but is it possible that it was copied from a higher version than it's trying to be pasted into?  (mismatched max versions?)
