CoolPicker plugin

Has anyone seen an updated version of the coolpicker plugin?(Chris Johnson / David Baker). The last working update I used was for Max2022 and I see a Max2023 version on maxplugins.de. I'm using Max2024 and just can't function without the coolpicker Ive been using for the last 15 years. I hope someone has the ability to update the script soon.

Hi, have you tried contacting the developers directly? I mean asking here is perfectly fine because someone might know something, but if you also contact them directly, maybe they will respond and tell you what their plan is for the add in.

I did reach out to the current developer, David Baker, and he said Autodesk changed the Max SDK so much in 2024 that the plug-in would not compile anymore. Thanks Autodesk for once again killing a valuable tool that's worked flawlessly since 2006.

Maybe before they raise the subscription fees again next year they can take a look at this useful plug-in and implement it permanently into Max.
