Is there a way on 3DS Max to combine two separate .max files into one? All I found online was merging, which imports objects of one scene into another but what I would like to do is just combining the two separate scenes into one .max files and one scene plays after the next, is it possible on the software at the moment?

Depends on complexity of your scene setup and animation, though you can try animating 1st scene from 0 to 100 and 2nd from 100 to 200, then use merge.

Merge the scenes in 3ds max. If both scenes already are animated move the animations keys of the second scene after the end of the animation of the first scene.

No idea why you would want to do that but maybe Scene Xref could work for that?
