Cannot set render output path in State Sets

Hello there,

I'm trying to use State Sets for better/simplest control when rendering multiple render passes.

My problem is that I cannot set the Render Output path(see the screenshot). It looks like the whole tab "Set Render Output File Pattern" is filled by the path input box and there is no other buttons(Browse, Set Path and Tokens). I've tried to maximize/resize the window or undock the tab, but without luck.

Current 3ds Max version is 2015 SP3 (I've hitted it on SP2 too, then upgraded to SP3)

Thanks for any suggestions,

Radek

Try dragging the divider up a bit, i think the buttons are simply hidden of screen.

At first, thanks for your reply.

I already try that before posting, but I forget to write about to my post 😕

When dragging divider up, bottom part of this tabbed container don't move, just the dragged header. Whole input box is then bigger and still anchored with the bottom of State Sets window. (screenshot attached)

Hello,

no progress here, I did not fix that problem yet. Last two things I tried to do:

- reset of whole Max (renaming of ENU directory - C:\Users\<xyz>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2015 - 64bit\ENU and start Max from scratch)

- a bit "hacky" way of trying to change the window and tabs layout in StateSets XML config (C:\Users\<xyz>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2015 - 64bit\ENU\en-US\plugcfg\State Sets\DefaultWindowLayout)

The funny thing is that i tried accessing output path through maxscript and have managed to change the directory, but it still wont save anything. I think its because i haven't specifyed format properties, but it still might be that the problem is not in the interface, but instead its something wrong with the save function itself... 😞 I have no time for total reinstall yet. But I will try to do it later.
