I imported a step file w/ assy's and sub assy's. However I'm trying to open the groups and get nothing but weirdness. When I am able to open the group I can't apply materials. I can't post due to proprietary issues but I've no idea what could cause this. Shouldn't it be as simple as drag/drop for materials? Why can't I change them.
