Hi there guys! Recently ive been running into problems with 3ds Max, and decided to reinstall. Now im stuck near the 35% mark of downloading/installing, as the error directs me to Program Files > Common Files > Autodesk Shared> WSCommCntr4. I uninstalled every single program related to autodesk from Uninstall a Program function Windows 7, before I proceeded to a reinstall. Im in a really bad situation right now as I am needing it for class, and was wondering if anyone could help me out here. Thanks! If you need any further information please tell me and I would be happy to provide them to you.

WSCommCntr4 is a process that deals with the online InfoCenter activity for AutoDesk software. It might have stayed resident on your pc after the uninstall process.
Try going into task manager / processes and ending it (Highlight and press numeric Detele key, or right-click end process). Once it is not running any longer then try to reinstall the Autodesk software.
btw, I find I/Obit uninstaller standard a really good program for force-uninstalling software. Remember it for next time.
