I'm having trouble opening this file.
I've asked to my client to send me a 2024 file but still the program tells me I'm using an older version, but I tried both 2024 and 2025.

I've tryed all the option like double click on the file and marge, but i always get this result.
There is a correct solution for this?
Are you sure this file was saved correctly?
The dialog clearly says both times this file was saved with version number "28000", which translates to 3ds Max 2026...
NB: If your client does "Save As" and selects "3ds Max 2024", for example, and then later just hits Ctrl-S, that last action will keep the filename but will save again in the latest version, i.e. overwrite the 2024 .max file with a 2026 .max file.
