Can somebody please try to delete the xref object inside this file?

Can somebody please try to delete this xref entry?

Whetever I tried, is not possible to delete this remaining xref object.

And this is serious, because this error cannot be ignored and

appears everytime I open this file.

So in the case of batch rendering, all rendering jobs

stops because of this error.

What is the name of the xref in the scene? I had no issue removing anything in 3ds Max 2021.

Did you use the Scene Explorer to delete?

Perhaps reset the preferences? (in my sig)

Yes your advice to investigate better what was in my original max file,

showed me the way to find that was a forest pack object that

was pointed into a custom object that I have deleted in my xref file.

So as soon as I deleted this "ghost" forest pack , I was be able to clean

this xref trace that wasn't allow me to render in batch mode.
