Bones list is empty

Hello guys,

So I'm pretty new to 3DS Max and I have the student version 2016. I use a 3D Chat called IMVU and there you can create furniture, clothes and so on.

I created a couch 2 days ago and it all worked fine. Now I can't do this anymore. I'm stuck at adding a bone. Whenever I skin something and try to add a bone to it, the list is empty. There is a "Root" folder provided by IMVU itself, which includes the bones. But now it isn't visible and I can't add it.

I hope, that you can help me out with this.

I also attached the .max file, that I'm using now.

Hello @Anonymous and welcome to the community,

When you go to add bones, the list is filtered.  All you need to do is enable helpers in there, shown below.  Please let me know if you have any questions.
