Hello @Anonymous

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question about a shrink wrap-like tool! I saw that @Swordslayer suggested the conform tool, which sounds pretty intuitive!

If you are looking for something with more nuance and control, I would suggest a cloth simulation with stitching, here is a good tutorial I found on that workflow.

Would love to give you more in depth help if you want it! Or to see the results of your shrink wrap adventures!

I want to wrap any object for a low poly mesh shape instead of modeling and matching the shape

That sounds like a really good way to save time! and just to be sure, does the conform tool not get you the desired result? here is a little video demonstrating the tool and how to use it!

If this doesn't work for you, I would love to explore some other tools to get the desired effect.

That conform modifier  works super slow, it hangs MAx for minutes  with hi-res "wrap to" object (not so hi res actually . 2-3 mil of polys).    Blender  shrinkwrap modifier works with same thing just in real time.

I wonder if there is another method for automatically conforming low res to hires model?
