backburner issue

I am networking rendering on three machines, and the problem is some frames are not saving.  In my monitor, it shows all the frames rendered and it completed, however where I have the files saved, some frames just don't save.  I have been using backburner for years and never encountered this issue.

When I go back to just re-render those missing frames, it does render.  The only common thing I am noticing is it seems to happen when I am using a daylight system.  I only bring this part up because I am rendering 20 difference scenes, and none of my inter had this issue.  But all my outside shots had this issue.

I am not getting any system error or anything.  If I watch each frame they all render, it shows in my monitor it rendered, but certian frames just not saving.

Has anyone had  this issue.

Hello @c_adornato and welcome to the community,

Generally speaking this is likely due to a network connection problem when it is trying to save the files.  If you'd like I can create a private folder for you and try to render them here to see if I can repro this issue.  If that fails, it's likely due to a network connection problem or timeout issue somewhere on the file server or render server.  Would you like me to create a private folder?

I do not know why but there seems to be and I/O image error. I did a test and this and renders out on my local machine and only saving to my local machine, and this caused an issue. I must have something on my machine that is causing this issue, but I can't seem to figure it out.

Hello @c_adornato,

Is it possible that one of the render elements has had the automatic path overridden by a manual path assignment?  Are you using render elements?  What image type are you saving out with, and does it help if you use a different format'?  (As a test.)  Are the outdoor scenes using any kind of scatter plugins for grass or trees that might have a local path instead of a network path?  Thanks for any extra information you can think of.
