Autodesk Software License Review

Hi,

 

We have been a paying 3ds Max customer for almost 20 years, from the old license days to the new subscription sign on. Today is the second time in 2 years that we have had Autodesk initiate a license review. What is causing this? What can we do to avoid this? Why do they need to review our license if we are signed into subscription? Shouldn't they already know what licenses we have? It is frustrating to be a paying customer for decades yet still be treated as if you are stealing software. No other software we have does this.

Autodesk can audit anyone when they feel like it

The only things I would have done that remotely make me think would trigger it is:  I installed the new 2023.2 update and then rolled back to 2023.1 after I was experiencing the crashes loading 2023.1 scenes, and then installed the new hotfix back to 2023.2.  

 

I guess they randomly pull customers for no reason?
