Any hope for a switch to old [select by name dialog] in Max 2017?

Like the title says, is there any hope that there will be a way to revert back to the old select by name dialog in Max 2017?

Resolved but it would still be nice to have a legacy switch in the preferences dialog like we have for the caddies switch.
