3DSMAX UI Menu Cut off - HELP

Everything else seems to work fine but I cannot use Pelt Map. When it first loads up it shows the left image but after it closes it cuts itself off and I can't click the commit button. I cant resize the box. I've tried changing my Resolution and my Display % and they both do nothing to change it. I renamed my ENU folder and it did nothing too. Please help I have a project due friday and I really need to be able to unwrap it!

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

The version is 2017 and so far that's the only menu that's broken.

Hello @Anonymous and welcome to the community!

Yes, this is a problem.  The pelt mapping window is currently affected by a problem with 4k monitors using a very high DPI.  Does this describe your monitor?

Currently this bug isn't fixed quite yet and I do realize this is a major headache.  With 2017 one of the main pushes was to get the application ready for really high DPI monitors, but this turned out to be one area that needs to be updated still.

One way to get around this may be to lower your screen resolution to HD size and restart 3ds Max until you are done pelt mapping.  Can you please try that and let me know if that worked for you?  I really appreciate it, and thank you.

I also saw your twitter post, very nice twitter page!  I love your artwork.

I just installed Service Pack 3 for 2017 and it appears to have fixed the issue! When I open it the buttons 'vanish' but if I hover over them they re-appear so it's actually usable now unlike before - I get the full window box so the commit button is there now!

Thank you very much!
