3DS MAX all of a sudden isn't starting anymore,

The license all of a sudden is not accessible by the program. What the hell?
We just get the error: "A license error occurred opening this product. How can I fix this? If the problem persists contact support"

This needs to be fixxed immediately

I tried and can open 3dsmax 2022 apparently , But yeah all of my files are saved in 2025 nowadays. So I cannot open my current projects

I cannot access my products on the autodesk online portal. Otherwise I would try to download and install 2026 to see if that works for now

***update*** 3DSMAX 2025 just finally opened so I'm assuming some of the problems are fixxed.
This took 5 productive hours of my workday today. Absolutely fan-tas-tic

Thanks Autodesk, you're the best. Keep it up. (yes this is sarcasm)

Is Autodesk fixxing this issue for the next time some Amazon server has an error? Can we expect a 3dsmax update soon so that paying users can actually keep using the software when this happens again? That would be great...
I would not be using 3dsmax (or any autodesk product) if my clients weren't requiring me to work in compatible software for their workflow. So if Autodesk makes half an effort to prevent situations like these that would be very much appreciated. The less time I have to spend on this forum or dealing with Autodesk support, the better.

It's back for me now, but this remains a serious issue for the future. Autodesk, you need to resolve this ASAP—it's a real problem. I'm now behind on my work because the software I paid for locally was down. Worst of all is Autodesk's silence. You've completely lost credibility with me.

Absolutely. I mean there has not even been an email sent explaining the issue.
No posts on the website, nothing on the forums except this thread.
Realize that it took me at least half an hour trying to figure out what the license problem is in the first place.
Then I have to contact a third party reseller to find out that the problem is the Autodesk License servers.

Why doesn't Autodesk send out an email to it's users explaining the problem and at least apologizing for the inconvenience.
This behavior of a software company of this size with so much revenue on which so many large and small businesses are dependent is just absolutely abysmal.

I'm back up again now. The downtime lasted about five hours. For me personally, it wasn’t critical today - but many users are in the middle of deliveries or preparing work for clients, and an outage like this simply cannot happen again.

A grace period should be a standard feature in the software, regardless of whether the issue is related to licensing or something else. It would ensure that users can continue working uninterrupted during temporary disruptions. I should be able to work when not online, for a periode!
Get a grip Autodesk! We pay you for this service so then you have to deliver!
