3ds max noise in my renders

guys,

im using photometric lights in my scene and its giving me allot of noise in my highlights. turning up the glossy samples didnt work and putting the FG to a high preset didnt work as well. any help?

Try the Integer (16 bit per Channel) frame buffer type, in case you are using the 32 bit one.

Are you using an emitter shape for the light? What are your quality settings(min 1/4, max 4)?

im using photometric lights, they are visible to the render. shadow samples of the light are 32. min 4 max 4. glossy samples 100. fg settings on draft. even if i pump up the fg settings the noise doesnt go away.

min 4 max 4...?


If this is the sampling quality setting it is not correct.
If Min and max values are the same MR is not able to do the job the right way.
Try 1 to 4.
