I have been using 3ds max for so many years and never really found a good solution to this, but recently it's becoming very time consuming to navigate through all the pathways to get to a certain file because it doesn't allow for a path to be pasted in when saving for example.

Is there a way i'm not aware of? or a solution to this problem.

Cheers!

If you paste the path on the Filename and press enter, you will jump to the correct folder to save the file.

Past the copied path in "File name" box and hit "Save" (or "open", whatever you doing with file)...

I wouldn't repeat your words if I've seen it before answering, don't know how that happen. Sorry.
