3DS Max 2023 user interface messed up

My 3DS Max user interface has some issues that I can't figure out.  I tried reinstalling Max, adjusting my screen resolution,  and clearing out the UI preference folder but nothing works. 

I have attached a screenshot of the problem. Anyone have experience with this?

Looks like font size is too large for the UI elements.  Are you using a 4K monitor by any chance?

I have a 4k laptop with a second display that's 1920x1080. Changing the font size didn't fix the issue, but I did find the answer in the link you posted.
