3ds Max 2020 "send to " fix

Hello,

This is a fix for the "send to" function not working  in 3ds max 2020 ubtil the devs fix it someday......

1.Go to the folder location: C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Synergy
  Note: This location may be hidden in Windows Explorer.
2.Open the Max2020.22.0.64.syncfg file.
3.In the Synergy Configuration file, ensure the content listed there is the
   same as shown below in quotation marks:

  <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
  <SynHubConfig SchemaVersion="1.0">
  <Application Name="3ds Max" StringVersion="3ds Max 2020"
NumericVersion="2020"
ExecutablePath="C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2020\3dsmax.exe"
Architecture="x86_64" />
</SynHubConfig>

Great that this works for geometry, but my Vray Rendersettings were broken.

Scene comes out green or violett, whatever I do...

As soon as I send from Maya (vray) to Max (Vray) I get a broken renderscene.

Only solution I found for this is to export everything again (Save selected as...) and import in a fresh scene (import > merge, without render settings).

maya > send to max (both latest vray in rendersettings enabled)

created new scene , only in MAX

Sending from Maya with "ADD" into that new scene, again broken

Hello @BenediZ ,

I just wanted to check back with you on this issue and see if you were still seeing these problems with the V-Ray renderer and the "Send to" features in Max and Maya.

Can you confirm which version of 3ds Max you're running when you're seeing this issue? Do you have the latest updates downloaded for it? (Updates 3 for either Max 2020 or 2021?) Thanks!

Hi Jon,

I am using latest version of Max 2021.3 and also am using latest version of Maya which I am trialing for 30 days.
