3DS Max 2012 - is there any way to get it?

I wanna install 3ds max 2012 because of plugin.

But it doesn't available any more.

Is there any way to get it?

No the 2012 has been discontinued, you would need to find an up to date plugin that you want

Hello @creeper0503 and welcome to the community,

Is the plugin the exporter for Fallout4?  I see a lot of threads about that particular exporter.  Unfortunately no you cannot purchase older versions of 3ds Max.  If you have a current subscription though you can use up to 3 versions back.  So 2018 - 2015.  In 2019 it'll be 2019 - 2016, etc.  

If the plugin isn't the Fallout Exporter, I may be able to help you find a comparable one for a modern version of 3ds Max.  Which plugin is it?

@Alfred.DeFlaminis it was this thread i was gonna tell him/her to get the 2012 trial and turn it into the commercial version!

I figured @irishman_team_kilber.  This came up before with a plugin for Fallout4, might have been for Max 2013/14 though.

@Alfred.DeFlaminis i thought a person could use backward compatibility in the newer version of max was not down to 11? that is far as a person can use max, but sure why a person would want to go backwards

From what i know fallout was designed in scaleform from when i play the fallout game(s)

Hello @irishman_team_kilber,

In this case they might want to go backwards because a custom script for exporting files was made for a specific version of Max and not updated after the SDK was updated to extend functionality of the base Max application in later versions.   This thread has a pretty good summation of this issue.   I know nothing about how FO4 was made, just that they exported models from Max using a custom script.

you know what would fix all of this having a legacy software section were people can buy old versions but corporations are to dumb to figure this out sometimes you just need the old version to get the job done also compatibility reasons

all they have to do is add a legacy software section label it ASIS with no support and sell it for a 100$

the creator of the plugin i need to use (GIMS IV) may as well be dead in the ground. there is no one developing another plugin "because that plugin exists already"

why cant you just sell legacy software? why is it such an issue? why can't you have an 11 year old version of one of your flagship products available for FREE? adobe used to have photoshop cs2 for free before they decided that you shouldn't. you're not losing any money. we don't have that money to buy from you otherwise.
