3ds max 19: cannot add all my maps path

I have a strange and bad thing happening:

I add about 400 map paths (external files->user paths)

but only a few of them have been added.

Why this behavior?

I'm sorry that you've run into this. It's actually a defect that got exposed by some recent changes for 2019 that we unfortunately missed. It was reported on a forum here:https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/3ds-max-forum/3dsmax-2019-problem-with-paths/td-p/7936498

The dev team is taking a look, first and foremost for a workaround as well as what I hope a fix in the next update for 3ds Max 2019. I'll make a note to come update this thread when we know more.
