3D model to HTML with interaction with database

I want to create a hotel in 3D and embed it to HTML. The interaction will be rotatetable vertically and windows of the room will be clickable and color of the window(changes like there is light inside the room on and off) and the most crucial for me is the interaction is base on the database. So if in the database room 1 is available. So in HTML where I embed the 3D model of the hotel room 1 will be lights on and clickable. Is it possible? What are the tools? Please help me. Thank you in advance.

Hello @Anonymous,

I don't think 3ds Max will be the right application for you here.  The closest thing it has to what you are describing is an old VRML exporter, but it's 20 years old and I don't think it's going to be at the level of quality or functionality that you are looking for here.  You might be able to render a spherical 360 degree camera render and use that as an interactive pano, but I doubt it'll interact properly with a database out of the box.

I think the closest thing to what you are looking for by Autodesk is called Live Design, and I believe you can try it free for 10 days.  It does work together with 3ds Max according to the website, so I think this is your best bet.  I don't have any experience with it, but you can call this number for more information:  1-844-328-3220

You should explore three.js . There is a Max exporter I've seen in the past... and I'm actually toying with building a pipeline for it myself. In any event, it's something you may find useful.
