Hi guys. I'm having these pop up windows when 3ds max initializes. It just appeared from one day to another. I didn't touch anything or installed anything. What do you know about this? How I can fix this?

See the MiniScript listener, it shows many ################## Is that normal?

Thanks for your help.

Hi @Anonymous,

It looks like it's pointing to an installation of the Corona Render engine, and perhaps its initialization script. Has Corona been uninstalled completely from the Windows Control Panel if not being used by 3ds Max?

You can check to see if the file CoronaRenderer_InitScripts.ms exists in the noted directory: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2017\scripts\Startup

I have just gone ahead and installed Corona Renderer and it does in fact create the CoronaRenderer_InitScripts.ms file in the 3ds Max "Startup" folder. If using Corona render engine please re-install the plugin, or if you are not using Corona, uninstall it completely from within the Control Panel.

Hope this helps! =]

Hello again Dominique. How is it going?

Thanks for your support. You were right, I unistalled Corona and restarted my PC and now it runs well. It was curious that the pop up window had 3 labels but only Corona was the real problem apparently.

Thank you so much for your help again.

Have a nice day!

Greetings.

Hi @Anonymous,

You're very welcome and thanks so much for your update!

Glad to hear that uninstalling Corona and rebooting the machine has fixed the error for you. There may have been other files still installed and utilized by 3ds Max from Corona, but Max could not find the one particular "CoronaRenderer_InitScripts.ms" file so it was throwing a MAXScript error.

Thanks again for keeping us posted here, and have an awesome day as well!  =]
